Welcome to Fashion x Electronics, a non-profit collective dedicated to bringing together textiles, sound, technology, and diverse modes of interaction.  

We are sisters: Kimia Koochakzadeh-Yazdi, a composer, performer, and technologist, and Kayla Yazdi, a fashion designer. Our mission at FXE is to merge our two worlds together by taking risks and experimenting. Whether we are creating interactive garment-based sound sculptures or wearable instruments for dancers, our goal is to explore and expand the possibilities of human sensory experience.

Simply put, we want our worlds to collide - to discover what happens when the visual and the sonic meet through physical interaction design. Our aim is to create multi-sensory experiences for our community and to continually build new ways of experiencing art.
